Lady Whiskerdown - August 2024

Dearest gentle reader,

It is with utmost pleasure that I unveil the latest happenings from our beloved Kiko’s Cat Cafe. The latest feline additions to our cosy abode has been a success, as they have wasted no time in making themselves at home. Their presence has graced visitors and staff alike.

Meanwhile, Mr Wobbles has been making headlines with his romantic pursuits. Recently, he was observed trying to woo the ever-elusive Chrissy. His distinguished demeanour and endearing quirks makes him a suitor of some renown. However, despite his best efforts of charm and wit, Chrissy has remained steadfastly aloof, caring more about the elusive laser that has her chasing her tail around the establishment. 

On a more communal note, our cream tea sessions have been ever-popular amongst the dwellers of Rye and beyond. The sessions offer an exquisite blend of culinary delight and feline companionship, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie fit for royalty. 

Yet, not all is serene in our whimsical world. The mischievous Lola continues to be a source of both amusement and mild exasperation with her antics. Renowned for her playful nature and insatiable curiosity, Lola has developed a particular fondness for our guest’s milkshakes. It has become a common sight to see this sly feline attempt to sneak a sip from an unattended drink, much to the amusement of onlookers. Her escapades, though occasionally troublesome, never fail to bring a smile to our visitors’ faces. 

As we continue to welcome new faces, both human and feline, we remain dedicated to providing a sanctuary of joy, comfort and delight. So much so, that I for one would like to extend an invitation to our enchanting cafe.
